Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and cooking high quality food using locally sourced ingredients.
Ensuring all ovens, grills and other cooking equipment temperature is appropriately regulated. Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces and garnishes
Storing food in temperature controlled facilities, and monitoring the temperate of
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements, including the Varsity dietary menu.Supporting the training of other kitchen staff
Supporting the Group Kitchen Manager with controlling and managing the general operation of the kitchen.Modelling company policies, staff policies, and service standards.The Experience You'll Have:Significant experience working as a Line Cook
Certificate III or higher qualification in commercial cookery or similar field. Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a management roleA sound understanding of BOH operations. Ability to supervise operations in a fast-paced environment.
