My client is one of the largest investment managers globally, with a diverse and prominent portfolio of funds across Australia. They boast a significant finance team in Sydney and offer an ideal platform for career development for high-performing individuals.
Reporting to the Finance Director you'll assist in the preparation of management and investor reporting. Including validating of results, distributions, calculation of IRR and returns and ad-hoc queries with oversight of external fund administrators.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support project work such as M&A, supporting transactional teams in understanding actuals and synergies between potential acquisitions and divestments.
About you
Recently completed (or part way) of your CA and ideally seeking your first move from a big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm. Or, have financial and/or management reporting skills from a large, complex business.
As this role will be required to work on and analyse financial models we are seeking candidates with a strong interest and aptitude in excel (particularly with index matching and v-lookups). Thus providing an exceptional pathway for an aspiring analyst or front office professional.
