The Opportunity
 

AIA Australia has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), to be an influential leader, working across the enterprise to develop and implement ESG priorities, deliver reporting and collaborate with AIA Group’s ESG team.

The role is a permanent part time position, working 3 days a week.
 

To do this successfully you will:

• Help to develop AIA Australia’s ESG strategy
• Facilitate carbon emissions and waste reduction plans in consultation with business owners and stakeholder groups
• Work with AIA Group on ESG targets and develop robust measurement and evaluation methods to measure and monitor AIA Australia’s impact
• Coordinate and oversee the provision of ESG data to AIA Group Office and to meet climate-related disclosure requirements
• Support business units and shared service functions to maximise the integration of ESG activities into their business plans, providing direction, support and training when required
• Keep informed of competitor and leading global company efforts in ESG to ensure AIA Australia continues to innovate in relation to ESG approaches
   

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.  ESG certification preferrable
• Strong previous experience in ESG is required, with a thorough understanding of sustainability practices
• Experience in presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, including making recommendations on areas ranging from strategy to policy, governance, process and reporting
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience managing complex relationships and partnership relationships – a confident, tenacious rapport builder and problem solver
• A genuine interest in making a positive Social and environment impact in our communities and a passion for our brand
• Highly self motivated and results driven
