About the role
This role will head up the fundraising programs, which includes community campaigns, events, appeals and individual giving. The focus for Senior Manager, Fundraising will be to develop a high-performing team and work closely with the team across the donor lifecycle to attract new donors, build retention, loyalty and grow lifetime value.
This role is a Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
About you
You will have accountability for strategy development, significant revenue and expenditure budget, execution and delivery of campaigns and activities aimed at driving acquisition, retention, and growth.
Reporting to the Head of Growth and Impact, this Senior Manager role is both hands on and strategic where you will have a growth mindset and supportive leadership experience to lead a team of fundraisers whilst working closely with the Senior Manager, Gift in Will and Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications that will support the delivery of a statewide fundraising strategy.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Fundraising experience
Proven track record within the not-for-profit sector, minimum of five years’ experience, with relevant qualifications (bachelor’s degree) or industry experience in fundraising.
Data-Driven
Data-driven fundraising strategy to cultivate relationships with new donors and steward existing donors to maximise engagement and revenue.
Leadership
Proven ability to inspire, coach and lead fundraising team.
Stakeholder Management
Proven approach in effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building, in identifying and nurturing new and existing opportunities especially in the community, and major donor areas.
