This role is part of the Group Reporting and analytics team (GR&A) finance team. Working with a group of professionals this role will deliver strong financial control through the adherence to policies, processes, and standards; provide financial / commercial insights and reporting to our business and external stakeholders through building and maintaining strong relationships.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Able to present financial data in a clear, simple way that reflects key business value drivers and draws out key insights and actions.
- Support a collaborative and supportive working relationship within GR&A and the bank to embed and drive cultural change and improve controls.
- Assist in maintaining collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts and owners across the Group.
- Apply financial policies, frameworks, and standards to the delivery of work activities.
- Assist in the development of education and training materials.
- This role is critical in supporting the timely and accurate delivery of project deliverables for the reporting stream under the Reporting Excellence program (REx).
- Ensure procedures are embedded and documented and appropriate controls are designed and operating effectively in relation to Global Reporting and these improvements are embedded in BAU

What do I need?
- Background in Finance or Accounting studies (CA/CPA qualified preferred)
- 7+ years relevant experience in banking or similar industry
- Advanced knowledge of finance / accounting concepts
- High competencies in reporting and presentation
- Good understanding of business performance and commercial drivers
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite
