KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all IT projects to ensure that they remain in-scope, on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor the Project Delivery team including project managers, business analysts, subject matter experts and other Project Delivery resources
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, and benefits
- Excellent project management skills including prioritisation, scheduling, and documentation.
- Provide project reporting for all IT projects, including achievement of key milestones, resource forecasting and risks.
- Prepare regular status reporting for extended leadership team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, technology or related area of study.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Manager IT Project Delivery, Project Delivery or Project Management function or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
- Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 10+ people.
- Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects
- PMI or PMP certification, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner or similar from an accredited organization.
- Experience in the carparking industry or related field such as smart cities, technology infrastructure and enterprise applications is preferred but not essential
- Excellent people management and mentoring skills
- Strong stakeholder management ability
