POSITION OVERVIEW
Trend Micro have created a new role of Senior Manager - Retail Channel Australia. This roles focus is to strategically grow and develop the sales of Trend Micro’s consumer solutions in Australia. To manage head office relationships with IT Mass Merchant’s, to manage the distributors of retail solutions as well as channel resellers in Australia, and provide strategic direction, forecasting and budgeting to the consumer leadership team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Director Retail Sales – AMEA to oversee Australian revenue and product goals to ensure achievement and alignment to those.
- Nurture and maintain existing retail relationships with Mass Merchant Retailers in Australia.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with distributors including programs to drive sales via non MMRs.
- Working with the Trend Micro Product Manager on stock production and forecasts
- Develop and execute a plan to explore additional channels and revenue streams within the greater Australian market
- Work with the Australian Field Managers to maximise sell through, which includes developing and supporting them with programs necessary.
- Extensive experience selling to national retailers is essential.
- Proven ability tobuild and nurture long term partner relationships with IT retailers is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling within the IT Channel with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Expertise in implementing retail promotions, coupled with a proven track record of accurate sales forecasting.
- Confident goal-oriented self-starter.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage and build accounts and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet revenue deadlines.
