There’s never been a more exciting time to join Power and Water Corporation, a NT Government owned utility that operates across 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. We generate, transmit and distribute electricity, supply water and sewerage services across the Northern Territory for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
The Senior Manager Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit proactively leads the continuous improvement of Power and Water’s enterprise approach to managing risk, meeting its obligations and assurance through Internal Audit, focusing on quality and continuous improvement.
This role requires demonstrable business acumen at a senior management level, including the ability to articulate and drive corporate vision and strategy through delivering effective initiatives and plans both at a strategic and operational level, and requires expert interpersonal and communication skills with persuasive, influential and negotiation abilities with a track record of effective engagement and stakeholder relationships at all levels.
