About the business & your teamThe Safe and
Seamless Payments Crew (SSP) are part of the Payments Domain under Business Banking (BB). The SSP crew are responsible for the group management of Scams and the Retail Payments business. Under the Group Scams Program of Work, this role has the responsibility of being the product manager across various key anti-scam initiatives, supporting the Group’s Anti Scam strategy and roadmap, engaging with and supporting key internal stakeholders on anti-scam related matters, managing key risks and issues, managing key external partnerships and providing subject matter expertise.The Group Scams Program of Work ‘s key internal stakeholders include the Group Security, RBS Everyday Banking (EDB) business, RBS Consumer Finance business, RBS Home Buying business, RBS Customer Service Direct (CSD), RBS Customer Service Network (CSN), RBS Customer Experience & Digital (CE&D) as well as Business Bank Payments, Digital, Everyday Business Banking and CommSec in addition to Bankwest. Retail Bank, Business Bank and Bankwest customers use a wide range of the Group’s banking products e.g. transaction accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, personal loans, home loans, and business transaction accounts across a number of digital platforms e.g. CommBank app, NetBank, CommBiz, CommSec and Bankwest App to pay and it is essential that these are done in a safe, secure and efficient manner.See yourself in the teamAs a Product Manager within the Scams, Insights and Strategy Squad, your role is key in supporting the Group Product Owner for the Scams Program of Work, and to engage, influence and execute on the Group’s Anti-Scams Roadmap with our key delivery stakeholders.This is an exciting opportunity in which you will use your critical thinking, high levels of initiative, passion and expertise to effectively execute the day-to-day management of the Anti-Scams Strategy & Roadmap, which includes implementing the Anti-Scams roadmap, , frontline support, and management of risk, compliance, legal and regulatory obligations.You will utilise your savvy for analytical and creative thinking to play a key role in the design and implementation of the Group’s Anti Scams Strategy and Roadmap to enhance the protection, detection and education of customers in relation to scams.In a highly complex and maturing regulatory environment, it is a fascinating time to be joining the team and make an impact in driving positive NPS, reducing risk and establishing CBA as the safest Bank in Australia. Your success in this role will contribute to uplift our products’ value proposition, deepen customer engagement, and grow revenue sustainably by protecting and reducing our customers exposure from scams.More specifically you will:
- Support various squads across the Group with the execution of key strategic anti-scams initiatives.
- Apply your judgement and experience to drive successful outcomes with key stakeholders across the Group.
- Manage scam related regulatory risks and issues
- Work closely with Product Owners in managing the key initiatives on the Anti-Scams Roadmap within squads across the Group
- Stay abreast of external market trends (from regulatory, economics to innovation)
- Be responsible for continued monitoring and proactive improvements of the scams risk and control environment
- Ensure robust operational risk management, and continuous improvement of scams-related matters
- Work closely with senior stakeholders with supporting the Group Scams Program of Work and roadmap.
We want to hear from people who have:
- 6 years + financial services experience
- Cards, Payments Product Management experience
- Scams, Fraud and Security experience highly valued
- Strong commercial acumen and strategy development skills
- Strong passion for learning and growing their career skills and expertise.
- Strong thought leadership, ability to work autonomously
- The ability and enthusiasm to act as a ‘change leader' in supporting transformational activities
- Experience dealing with a highly complex operational environment
- A track record of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across teams
