Senior Manager Transport Operations

In this role, you'll:

• Join the Coordinator General Branch on a Permanent Full-Time basis as a Senior Manager Transport Operations and be based at our Transport Management Centre in Eveleigh.
• Operate in a rotational shift roster over 7 days, between 6am and 9pm. Typical shifts are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 9pm but are subject to change based on circumstances.
• Lead a large team and thrive in an environment where you need to strategically assess the impact of incidents and congestion on NSW roads, motorways and tunnels as well as on the surface transport network
• Maintain a wide working knowledge and understanding of the NSW road and transport network to pre-empt and meet emerging needs within a diverse, dynamic, and potentially sensitive operating environment.
• Build strong working relationships with other government agencies, emergency services, private entities, and other Transport agencies.
• Dynamically assess the transport network and implement strategies to help optimise network performance for passengers.

• Experience in Transport Operations, network planning or traffic management is preferred, but comprehensive training will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are set up to succeed.
