- Manage the value creation pipeline; ideation, quantification and execution across grape and bulk wine sourcing
- Deliver the capex budget in full and on time; ensure capital allocation decisions are maximised across the global supply chain
- Maximise inventory working capital benefits
- With a focus on Global Inventory, capex and bulk wine sourcing:
- Manage delivery of global financial targets; embed a strong R&O and forecasting process
- Perform analysis of monthly results, including future focused, actionable commentary and insights
- Deliver the annual budget and strategic planning process
- Make pricing recommendations and ensure that annual negotiations with warm/cool climate growers are backed by data and external benchmarks as required; track and monitor as required
- Deliver SMI improvements across the global network
- Manage the BWT P&L delivery
- Formulation and development of the sourcing strategy in partnership with GSLT, Grape Supply Director and Bulk Wine Trading
- Ensure AW’s Global Inventory position is balanced, and risks articulated with regards to future supply and demand positions (i.e. no material bulk wine write-offs, growth is supported)
- Ensure no inventory audit adjustments
- Ensure financial data is appropriately recorded and maintained within relevant systems (Vintrace, JDE); drive process improvements
- Ensure all key balance sheet reconciliations have been completed in line with predetermined time lines and are supported by valid, complete and accurate data.
- Manage and review inventory counts to ensure no material stock write-offs in ANZ
- Manage year end process and requests for information for inventory and liaison with External Auditors.

- Availability for meetings out-of-hours to communicate with the various financial, supply and operations teams.

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Financial/Management Accounting and/or Commercial Finance roles
- FP&A experience is required and cash flow experience is preferred
- University degree in accounting or related discipline
- Professional Accounting qualification – CA, CPA
