Senior Manufacturing Scientist

We are currently have an opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Scientistto join our Sydney based clean room. This role will see you working as part of a small team, working hands on in the clean room as well as providing leadership support. Duties will include;

• Manufacturing media, filling media and participating routine cleans
• Provide daily support and leadership to the team 
• Adapt the production schedule to facilitate changes in demand and/ or unplanned events.
• Liaise with the Supply Chain Coordinator and Operations Manager AU to generate weekly production schedule.
• Assist the Operations Manager to ensure facility cleans are scheduled and performed per approved procedure.
• Ensure all materials used within the Manufacturing Suit are uploaded into SyteLine accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Identify stock requirements and communicate needs to supply chain in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate stocktake of raw materials, consumables and quarantined product with supply chain and the finance group.

This is a small team so you will need to support hands on in the lab as required as well. 

We are seeking an experienced applicant for this role, someone who is degree qualified and has previously worked in a clean room environment. Ideally you will have some leadership exposure and come with a fresh, keen attitude to learn, develop and grow. You must be willing to be hands on in productions, as well as taking on the the leadership components of the role.
