Join a successful well-established, and expanding private national Australian Manufacturing Company who design, manufacture, and supply a range of quality innovative, decorative, products in the kitchen, laundry, bathroom ware / plumbing sector. The Company operate multiple Showroom and Distribution Centres around Australia to highlight their product ranging, elevate their Brand and positioning, and ensure the provision of exceptional customer service, delivery & support. The Company’s success is due to their ability to understand their market, their commitment to work collaboratively with their Partners & Partners customers (Resellers / Specialist Retailers, Architects, Interior Designers), and providing a positive work environment for their employees. Location: North of Adelaide City.
Your role will include planning, developing and implementing print, promotional and digital marketing activities, as well as collaborating with customers / prospects and cross functional teams (sales, product development, supply chain) to develop and implement effective campaigns. Ultimately, your role is to effectively “bridge the gap” between marketing strategy and sales execution to improve company sales, engagement and brand recognition. Thus, you will be involved in:
- Research activities
- Developing and managing Marketing collateral – print and digital.
- Developing and managing (including implementation and measurement) of Promotional activities
- Brand management
- Budget management
- Training and support
The ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications (ie Marketing, Business, or related field), 8+ years’ experience in trade marketing (preferably within the building or home improvement sector) thusa strong understanding of working in a B2B environment (trade, consumer behaviour & retail). You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), strong analysis and strategic capability, data driven decision making through detailed research and competitive analysis, have liaised effectively with agencies from time to time for ‘expert assistance’, strong IT skills (ERP, CRM, Excel, PowerPoint and reporting, specialist research, marketing IT programs and platforms), strong planning and project management skills – able to multi task effectively and truly enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative working environment. Some national travel may be required.
