THE ROLE

- Salary of $140,000 to $165,000 plus superannuation (depending on experience and qualifications)

THE ROLE
As the Senior Mechanical engineer you will be responsible for:
- Detailed Mechanical Design in association with the design team
- Technical design and simulation of models
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and relevant calculations
- Some degree of Project Engineering, managing projects and schedules
- Operational management and occasional site visits
- Mentoring and training of Junior Engineers and Drafts People
PREFERRED CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience with detailed Mechanical Design
- Finite Element Analysis experience at an advanced level
- Relevant operational experience in the mechanical field
- Gas field, onshore drilling, coal seam gas, and process experience would be desirable
- Experience working with skids, vessels and pressure piping
- Bachelor of Engineering
- RPEQ or CP Eng (or progress towards)
- Working knowledge with Autodesk Inventor, Nastran, Creo and Windchill
- Ability to maintain required medicals and continuously ,pass a drug & alcohol test
