As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:
- Provide expert substation Electrical Design services and directly supervise, review and approval designs for allocated team design tasks.
- Be the first point of contact for design, scoping, budget and timing issues relation to substation Electrical Design across the project lifecycle from concept design through to detailed design, construction support and post commissioning.
- Ensure that internal and externally produced designs and the provision of design expertise and services provide value for money, are cost efficient, constructible, on time and on budget whilst complying with design standards.
- Provide expert technical intelligence and support, coaching and training for the substation Electrical Designers, to enhance the capability of the team.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, for the Senior role RPEQ status is required (or close to achieving)
- Significant experience in HV primary electrical infrastructure design for electricity transmission substations
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach and mentor team members.
- Advanced technical specification and technical report writing skills.
