About the role:
Due to sustained growth in the region, excellent project wins and a desire to continually evolve and develop, a strategic role has been established for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based in the Newcastle office and our Industrial and Resources team. With a focus on delivering high engineering design standards this role will directly report to and support the Regional Managers and Principal Mechanical Engineer whilst integrating with the specialist National team.
About you:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- Multiple years of post-Grad experience within a Consulting Engineering environment
- Proven track record of exceptional design and delivery of projects in areas including Heavy Lifting, Mining and Minerals, Maritime, Materials and Pressure Vessels
- Strand 7 FEA Modelling experience
- Specific exposure to Underground Machinery and rotating equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to further your career in Client and Design Management on a diverse range of projects
