ABOUT THE ROLE
Looking to strengthen their internal engineering team, an opportunity exists for mid-senior level engineer to support operations and ensure plant reliability and process improvement.Operating mainly within a brownfield environment, with some site travel as required, you'll be responsible for both concept and detailed design across a broad range of assets.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated history of designing equipment to support bulk materials handling within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to perform hand calculations and use FEA or DEM software.
- Familiar with Australian Design Standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders.
- The knowledge, experience and desire to mentor lesser experienced engineers where required.
- The ability to travel to sites when required.
- Hold CPEng or RPEQ registration or the ability to obtain Chartered status would be desirable.
