The Link Youth Health Service (The Link) supports young people within Hobart and Southern Tasmania by providing a range of free and confidential health and wellbeing services for young people aged 12-25.
As part of The Link, headspace Hobart delivers integrated primary health, mental health and alcohol and other drug services to young people aged 12-25 years in a youth friendly environment.
About the Role
We are seeking a caring and passionate Senior Receptionist to join us.
- To lead our team of reception staff, providing the highest quality customer service for clients, family and friends and other stakeholders accessing programs of The Link.
- To provide high level reception and administration support across all functions of The Link.
- Ensure the co-ordination of all activities of the reception team, including line management responsibilities, to ensure the same professional level of service is provided by all members of the team.
About You
You will:
- Have highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in a warm and effective manner.
- Give accurate information, safeguard confidentiality and work from a client-centred and non-judgemental approach with young people, their families and a diverse range of health and community service providers.
- Experience working in a medical setting is desirable, including the use of medical software such as Best Practice (or the ability to quickly acquire proficiency in medical software).
- Have formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience.
Essential Requirements
Evidence of the following must be provided prior to appointment to the position:
- A current Tasmania Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- A current National Police Check (updated within the past 6 months)
- A current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
