Two Roles – Senior Medical Secretary/Practice Manager and Medical Secretary 2IC, both full-time at a prestigious oncology practice.

Both roles are full-time positions with an immediate start.
Essential Criteria:
- Medical secretary experience essential with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Self-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work cohesively in a small team environment essential.
- Gentu Medical Software experience including billings, bookings, referrals, follow-up appointments
- Medical typing
- Ability to multitask with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to adjust and adapt to practice requirements
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, other providers and hospital staff as well as excellent communication skills within the office team environment
- Demonstrated high-level of empathy / compassion (previous exposure to oncology environment highly desirable)
- Maintain a high level of written and verbal communication skills. This includes a professional telephone manner and written email communications
- Ability to work in Australia
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Meeting/greeting of patients
- Answering phones and making appointments
- Coordinating and managing clinic sessions
- Provide administrative support to specialists during clinics
- Scheduling chemotherapy bookings and liaising with the cancer centre
- Liaising with various pathology and radiology providers to schedule scans and follow up results prior to clinic
- Accounts - billing/receipting money, banking
- Scanning/entering clinical data
- Management of computerised diary
