About The Role An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Senior Metallurgist to join Iluka’s project development team.
The preference is for this position to be based in our head office in Perth, however we are flexible to the position being based in our Capel Offices in the South West region of WA. Reporting directly to the Manager – Metallurgy Projects, the main responsibilities of this role include: Develop quality capital efficient process designs for mineral sands and rare earth projects inclusive of significant gravity, magnetic and flotation circuits within schedule and budget Scope and execute predominantly in-house technical assessments, inclusive of pilot programs to validate process design Provide technical leadership on specific projects from concept through to design, implementation and commissioning Consultation with stakeholders and clients to ensure their needs are catered for during scoping, planning, execution and close-out of projects About
You To be successful for this role, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Process Engineering or Metallurgy Demonstrated significant experience in a mineral processing dominated production or engineering environment Demonstrated practical and fundamental skills blending theoretical, practical, hands-on and problem-solving experience Experience in design, execution and commissioning of capital projects Experience with providing project deliverables to studies Our Benefits Flexible working arrangements Ability to purchase additional Annual Leave Competitive base salary and short-term incentive program
