AddressAtom Resources are working with a gold mining client, who are looking for a Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join their smaller scale, surface gold operation, in a permanent format.
ROLE & REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or similar - Mining Engineering
- 'C' Class Western Australian Drivers License
- 5 years + working in a metalliferous environment in Mine Engineering roles or related (preferably open-pit)
- Competence utilising Deswik CAD
- Up to date understanding of WA mining legislation
- Capability with short to medium term planning and pit optimisation
- Generating weekly and monthly plans
- Drill & Blast design with inclusion of QA/QC management
This position is working in a small team environment, based on an 8:6 FIFO roster ex-Perth, suited to a candidate who is interested in developing best practice and delivering improvement to current operational and management functions.
