This involves the assessment and management of complex and high-risk water applications and projects, in accordance with the Rights in Water and Irrigation Act 1914. The role is also responsible for the implementation and coordination of specific projects with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and conducting training, coordinating the resolution of sensitive or complex issues, implementing improvements in the work environment and the day-to-day coordination of the water licensing team.As a department we recognise that flexible working arrangements support effective work-life balance, empowers our people and increases team productivity. Work Related Requirements * Tertiary qualifications in relevant field and/or substantial experience in Natural Resource Management.

• Ability to prepare, analyse and communicate information and concepts including the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions to problems.
• Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Experience and ability in using variety of computer software to prepare high quality reports from the analysis of Natural Resource Management information.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant acts, policies, procedures and guidelines.
