is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. Warehouse Officer is responsible for ensuring that all samples effectively pass through the laboratory in an orderly fashion, that they are easily accessible by laboratory staff, and that they are removed from refrigeration and put in storage or disposed of, once completed. Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to: Ensuringsamples are stocked and organisedin the cool room Disposingof samples Record keeping of samples Performing manual labour tasks e.g. loading and unloading eskies and boxes. About You To be successful for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities and characteristics: Commitment to Safety Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. On the job training will be provided, along with the use of our systems and programs. Previous exposure to a warehouseenvironment would hold you in good stead, however our successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
