- Offer network support throughout the organization.
- Aid in the design, implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning of networks.
- Collaborate with the network lead in designing, implementing, and testing IT network services for disaster recovery (DR).
- Contribute to the design of IT disaster recovery plans.
- Recognize changes or upgrades, adhere to change management processes, communicate with the ICT team, obtain approval, and execute the implementation.
- Maintain network and associated hardware, software, services, and settings.
- Recommend, test, and implement system and security upgrades.
- Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance.
- Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions.
- Strong understanding Cisco switching, routing and wireless technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking and standards. IP Addresses, routing protocols, security (802.1x, ACL’s),
- Operational knowledge of WAN technologies and services, remote access and gateway technologies.
- Operational knowledge of network monitoring and alerting.
- Operational knowledge of server services and applications.
- Operational knowledge understanding of security in network environments.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to translate complex technical to understandable concepts.
- Good writing skills both technical and written communication.
- Ability and desire to work as a member of a team
