About the role
As a Network Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and governing the architecture of their Network & Unified Communications platforms. You will be responsible for developing Network Architecture supporting a variety of systems, including virtualized, physical, cloud-based, Unified Communications, and Software as a Service (SaaS) systems for both IT and OT environments as needed.
Key requirements of the role
- Collaborate with Lead Enterprise, Integration, Technical, Solution, and Domain architects to deliver outcomes aligned with standards and guidelines.
- Work closely with the Cyber Security Team to ensure security considerations are integrated into designs.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of associated strategies.
- Provide architecture guidance for network, infrastructure, and application systems to ensure interoperability and resilience.
- Engage with key business stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions.
- Guide MSP and technical specialists in projects and decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to Policies, Procedures, and Standards during solution design and implementation.
- Collaborate with MSP and technical specialists to ensure architecture requirements are met for new solutions.
- Provide direction for monitoring and reporting tools.
- Implement information security processes and systems to safeguard information and data assets.
- Serve as an escalation point for network systems.
- Act as a conduit for escalations to MSP or management, providing proactive feedback for service improvements.
