Form of workNRI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Design and Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane or work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Deployment:
- Design and deploy network solutions, emphasizing SDWAN and firewalling, across varied appliances and physical infrastructure.
- Work with multiple vendors, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (Meraki), to ensure seamless integration of networking components.
- Implement WAN connectivity for branch offices, express routes, and VPN solutions.
- Deploy LAN configurations, involving switch routing, local firewalling, Vnet, VLAN, and peering, both on-premises and in Azure.
- Azure Networking:
- Demonstrate expertise in Azure networking across the spectrum.
- Utilize Azure tools such as NSG, Load Balancer, Firewall, Routing, and others to optimize network performance.
- Implement and manage Azure Virtual Network Manager, Azure Network Watcher, PRTG, Solar Winds, and SNMP for effective network monitoring.
- SDWAN Implementation:
- Architect and deploy SDWAN solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Work with Cisco (Meraki) on-premises and Azure SDWAN to ensure seamless integration and efficient use of resources.
- Security:
- Implement security measures across WAN, LAN, and Azure environments.
- Utilize Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco (Meraki) appliances for robust security architecture.
- Implement Azure security features such as Azure Firewall, NSG, and Load Balancer.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
- Implement monitoring tools such as Azure Network Watcher, PRTG, Solar Winds, and SNMP for proactive network management.
- Optimize network performance by analyzing and troubleshooting issues promptly.
- Proven experience in network design and deployment with a focus on SDWAN and firewalling.
- Proficiency in multiple vendors' technologies, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (Meraki).
- Expertise in Azure networking, including Virtual Network Manager, Azure Network Watcher, NSG, Load Balancer, and Routing.
- Strong understanding of WAN and LAN configurations, VPN solutions, and Express Routes.
- Experience with SDWAN technologies, including Cisco (Meraki) and Azure SDWAN.
- Familiarity with 4G networking and related technologies.
- Relevant certifications in networking and cloud technologies are a plus.
