Your Opportunity
Forming part of the Connected Technology team this role will play a key role in providing a high level of technical support and post-project delivery services to the Firm and its users - this involves design, implementation, support, and resolution to complex problems relating to network, security, systems, storage, and wireless solutions. This role also encompasses consultancy and policy development relating to KPMG network technologies and solutions.
The Senior Engineer will provide comprehensive and detailed design, scoping and technical support to project teams while complementing and mentoring the mid to junior level engineers in all policy and technical capacity.
As Senior Network Engineer within KPMG-AU the role will be required to consult with and engage internal and external stakeholders on a continuous basis, with specific focus on cyber security protection and assistance, enterprise architecture and solution development and delivery against the strategic direction.
The role will be responsible for leading the network response and engagements as required within Service NOW and dictated by the firm's requirement to meet ITIL processes and procedures as determined by KPMG CTG Management.
The Senior Network Engineer will be tasked with the development of the Team's Junior and mid-level Engineer levels where your experience and abilities will be showcased, and your knowledge shared to lift the skills and capabilities of the overall team and other areas of the broader CTG community.
How are you Extraordinary?
Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) highly desirable
High level network design and architecture experience
Effective time management
Solid understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (SSL certificates etc)
Experience with SNMP based monitoring and NetFlow
Linux (Ubuntu) experience would be good but not essential

A comprehensive knowledge and experience of data technologies and solutions
A comprehensive experience in dealing with telecommunication service providers, specifically relating to a managed WAN service
Tertiary degree or 4 years relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of Proxy PAC files
