Green Light are looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer join our Technology Client supporting Mining Oil & gas projects for Perth working from home / their location
Senior Network & Security Engineer
The role will provide IT & OT support for mining related projects across mines, port and corporate operations. Will be filling in the gaps in capability as needed. Mainly Cisco networking, network Security, firewalls such as checkpoint etc. Heavy design and documentation focused role supporting with the initial scoping, developing the HLD’s, LLD’s, Network Diagrams, BoM, documentation etc. Will also support through implementation as well for any higher level troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deployment of network IT & OT solutions for clients.
- Review of existing and proposed network architecture solutions and creation of consulting recommendations regarding the architecture designs.
- Review and analysis of network technical solution costs and determine alternative options for clients.
- Produce accurate, complete, and well thought out technical architecture designs and create LLD/HLD documents with attention to detail.
- Complete on-schedule deployment of project tasks and technical solutions.
- Engage with client and third-parties organisations and technical teams to achieve project deployment objectives.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Experienced in the creation of Detailed Design/High-Level Design (HLD)/Low-Level Design Documents.
- Experienced in providing technical consulting expertise to organisations.
- Experienced in project scoping and pre-sales estimations along with writing/contributing to sections of project proposal documents.
- Demonstrated high-level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Accountable and proactive with the ability to self-manage and coordinate multiple project priorities.
