About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a senior role in Sunshine Coast QLD.
Primary responsibilities will involve:
Evaluating adult NDIS recipients who exhibit a wide spectrum of acute and chronic health issues linked to physical, cognitive, or sensory impairments.
Devising and executing efficient therapy and rehabilitation plans to aid clients in attaining their specific objectives.
Crafting Assistive Technology prescriptions encompassing mobility, seating, and electronic assistive technology.
Assessing, reassessing, and documenting both basic and intricate home adjustments.
Generating thorough reports for submission to funding organizations.
Ensuring the proficient and secure delivery of client care either within a clinical setting or at their residences.
Providing guidance and mentorship in clinical excellence to junior occupational therapy team members.
Demonstrating a drive for continuous learning and skill enhancement, actively engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and interdisciplinary clinical review sessions.
Abiding by clinical protocols and implementing evidence-based methodologies tailored to the individual needs of each client, thereby ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

About You:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA registration
Strong ability to assess NDIS clients with a diverse range of acute and chronic paediatric conditions
Established OT skills in AT prescription, environmental modification and therapy planning related to this caseload
A passion and drive to make a difference
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience developing and delivering projects and a demonstrated ability to build new services is highly desirable
An ability to work independently
Excellent time management skills
High-level clinical skills and reasoning
Accurate and articulate report writing abilities
Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill set and career
Current drivers licence
Current police check
Eligible to work permanently in Australia
