About your opportunity:
Permanent full-time position x 2 | Location: Townsville
The purpose of this role is to deliver Senior Occupational therapy services within the Townsville Community Falls Team.
This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based occupational therapy clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality occupational therapy services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $4769.60 to $5132.40 p.f. (HP4)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:
- Proof of qualification (Occupational Therapy), registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
