The position 
As the Senior Officer: Communications and Content, you are a key part of a multi-disinplary team  that is dedicated to design, develop and deliver end-to-end Communications and marketing solutions. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of planning and creating engaging content across multi-channels and complete journeys. Your keen eye for detail will ensure all content aligns to the brand’s identity, being core to the success of numerous concurrent communications activities and marketing campaigns that ensure CGGS remains a leader in the education arena.

You will come from a diverse and versatile communications, marketing or perhaps public relations background, and understand the importance of collaborative planning to ensure timely and accurate content execution. You will have an appreciation of, and enthusiasm for, the impact of innovative, distinctive Communications and marketing content. 

Reporting to the Director: Marketing and Communications, your experience of content requirements for various channels is well rounded. Your day is all about anticipating the School’s communications needs to ensure your messaging resonates with CGGS current and potential families, is responsive to stakeholder requirements, drives exceptional engagement results and provides tangible value to CGGS. With a creative mind-set, you are agile, approachable and recognised as a trusted advisor and a key team player.

We need:

  • A capable and confident planner, who is process driven and can coordinate concurrent content activities across various channels.
  • Sound experience in anticipating and implementing effective multi-channel Communications and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in supporting all facets crucial to a successful Communications and marketing plan—such as brand, copy, visual design, multimedia and media buying. You understand how it all comes together and can support to make it happen.
  • Strong and quick writing and editing skills, with an ability to write to an existing brand language, personality, tone of voice and narrative and further develop the guide. 
  • Digital-first focus, yet understanding and respectful of all marketing channels and their various assets/formats. 
  • Proven passion for smart, sharp communication that compels to act.
  • Disciplined, organised and detail obsessed.
