Large Shopping Centre - large team to provide support
Must demonstrate 5 + years of direct experience in operations
Trade background beneficial however not necessary
The primary focus of the Operations Manager is to uphold operational safety, performance and compliance across the Centres. You must always diligently pursue best practice for maintenance standards, strategic planning, budgeting, environmental and sustainable performance and sound management practices.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Control all purchasing procedures within the operations area
Planned preventative maintenance
Conduct regular building and car park inspections
Manage all engineering and ad-hoc services and contractors
Procurement strategy for upcoming contracts
Coordinate, monitor and evaluate contractor performance
Skills and Experience:
Relevant facilities management experience across retail assets
Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and meet deadlines
Action-oriented and outcome focused
Awareness of personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace,
Contract and stakeholder management skills
Full driving licence
