Some of your responsibilities will include:- Supervising a small team and liaising with a range of stakeholders to enable the delivery of passenger and school transport products, systems, and services.- Delivering frontline customer service including managing complaints and providing advice to customers and stakeholders on legislation, policy, and operational delivery.- Managing the delivery of the School Transport Assistance Scheme at a local level and contribute to the regulation of the passenger transport industry.- Monitoring office and data systems to ensure accountability and sound governance while supporting the team to work within legislative frameworks.- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with industry and stakeholders including proactively contacting service partners in relation to the management and reporting of natural disasters and other emergency situations.- Monitoring performance under service contracts with particular emphasis on compliance and operational delivery.
