Little Movers Physiotherapy
Little Movers Physiotherapy is looking for a Grade 2 or 3 paediatric Physiotherapist to take over the caseload of one of our Senior Physiotherapists who is moving interstate. The caseload consists of a mix of working from our Yarraville clinic and home/community visits in the Western/North-Western suburbs of Melbourne, in addition to running internal 1:1 mentoring sessions.

We are a team of passionate paediatric Physiotherapists who have been working collaboratively with children and their families to develop meaningful goals and implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions since 2016. We have a culture in which knowledge and questions are shared openly. Team brainstorming is encouraged during regular in-house PD sessions and mentoring sessions, and we support each other to continually develop our expertise and skills in order to provide the best possible service to the families we work with. We have a very low staff turnover rate!
Our clinics are located in Yarraville (within Sum of Us Kids Therapy Hub where we work alongside a team of paediatric allied health professionals) and Malvern (within Victorian Childrens Clinic where we work alongside a large team of Paediatricians). We also provide home & community visits to children living in the western, north-western, and inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We value the importance of creating a team care approach and have close relationships with the Royal Children’s Hospital and Joan Kirner Hospital, as well as private and community Paediatricians, Allied Health Practitioners and GPs.

About the role
We are looking for a Grade 2 or 3 Paediatric Physiotherapist to take over the caseload of one of our senior Physiotherapists, who is moving interstate in mid April. This would include working from the Yarraville clinic 2 days/week, and 2-3 days/week of home/community appointments working with children in the home, childcare, kinder, school, local playground, pool and other community settings. The role would also include clinical education, providing 1:1 mentoring sessions to less experienced Physiotherapists in our team.
Yarraville clinic caseload
The Yarraville clinic caseload is varied, with a mix of private and NDIS funded clients, but the caseload is predominantly babies & young children. The caseload includes neurodevelopmental assessment of infants, common newborn concerns e.g., torticollis, plagiocephaly and concerns about delayed gross motor development, orthopedic post operative rehab, gait concerns, and screening for conditions such as Developmental Coordination Disorder and other conditions affecting motor development.
