Purchasing to Payment Services is the University's contact point for purchasing and payment needs, from advice and transactions to the delivery of goods. The Opportunity
The Senior Payment Services Officer position provides a high-quality administrative service to support the effective operation of the Payment Services Division. This includes implementing a range of services relating to quality expense management service delivery and vendor Payment Services.
Reporting to the Payment Services Team Leader, this role will have a focus on Expense Management duties, such as processing and auditing of expense claims, corporate credit card administration, complex reconciliations and journal processing and a high level of customer support.
While maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, this role will need to comply with University policy and procedures, and taxation and audit requirements along with the highest standard of customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent administration skills and a demonstrated capacity to deliver effective operational processes and systems
A strong commitment to excellence in customer service
Ability to work as an effective team member as well as the ability to work independently
Knowledge of expense management, accounts payable, taxation and audit requirements to be able to provide advice and recommendations to key stakeholders
