You'll work within AWS infrastructure, supporting multiple technology stacks to ensure high availability, low latency, and exceptional performance of our payment systems.Additionally you will be responsible for:
- Developing a deep understanding of our clients, applications, and infrastructure to provide effective support and maintain system stability;
- Resolving integration issues, support API services, and troubleshoot production/project issues while adhering to ITIL framework procedures;
- Utilising tools like CloudWatch and New Relic to build, operate, and maintain system and application monitoring and health checks.;
- Maintaining PCI DSS compliance and assist with annual audits, ensuring our payment systems' security and integrity;
- Act as the first responder to critical alerts and incidents, collaborating with Incident Managers for swift resolution of major issues;
- Document and enhance existing processes, providing training and support to other analysts for knowledge transfer and supportability of new products;
- Keep clients and internal teams informed of issue resolutions and software releases, fostering strong working relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or equivalent;
- 3+ years of commercial IT experience;
- Proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS and Azure;
- Knowledge of DBMS technologies (Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with .NET, C#, XML, SOAP, REST, and Web Services;
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL practices;
- Ability to acquire a broad understanding of integration architectures and APIs;
- Strong problem-solving, process analysis, and troubleshooting skills;
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and ITIL practices;
- Experience with Monitoring and Alerting Tools like Newrelic, Victor Ops, Opsgenie, Sumologic;
- Excellent relationship management skills.
