Due to the expansion within our client’s business, we are seeking applications for Senior Payroll Clerk and Assistant Payroll Clerk. Experience with high volume payroll functions of over 500 employees is essential.
As Senior Payroll Clerk you will be working within the payroll team of 5. You will provide support to the Payroll Manager and will be performing key functions, including timesheet entry and pay run processing.
About You:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Accurate data entry and excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization skills to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong knowledge of Awards and Industrial Relations Legislation
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weekly payroll processing
- Process and maintain General Ledger Journals
- Produce end of month reports and Journals
- Assist with end of financial year requirements
- Calculate Workcover/parental leave payments as required
- Reconciliation and payment of payroll taxes, superannuation etc
If successful, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical along with drug and alcohol testing.
