About the Role:
Operating in a stand-alone capacity and reporting to the Managing Director, this role is well suited for an individual who is attentive, driven and able to accurately perform payroll duties as well as some accounts.
Duties:
- Conduct end-to-end payroll processing.
- Handle leave calculations, including long service, maternity, and parental leave.
- Provide administration support includes but is not limited to onboarding new staff, inbox assistance and processing employee documentation.
- Interpret complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and Awards.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Exhibit expertise in Superannuation and Tax calculations.
- Provide assistance and resolution for payroll-related queries.
Skills and Experience:
- 4-5 years' experience in processing payroll
- Has previously manually processed payroll
- Previous experience using Xero is preferred, but not essential
- Demonstrated capability in performing full-function payroll tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both internal and external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of EBAs and Awards.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
