About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior People, Culture and Change Advisor to join DuluxGroup based in either Melbourne (Clayton) or Adelaide.

Reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Change for Supply Chain, you will provide customer focused, commercial advice to a diverse range of stakeholders across the business in VIC, SA and WA.

Supporting approx. 350 employees across states, you will become a trusted advisor on all people related matters and implement annual activities. You will influence and coach leaders with employee relations cases, support industrial relations processes, as well as contributing to a number of strategic initiatives and people projects.

Our broader PCC team are highly supportive. You will work alongside and collaborate with the wider PCC team including centres of excellence in Workplace Relations, Organisational Development, Performance, Reward and Workplace Analytics and Talent Acquisition.

This is a part-time role with flexibility across 3 or 4 days depending on preference. We are open to the role being located in our Clayton Head Office or Hilton, Adelaide.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business, functional and/or regional leadership teams and provide generalist PCC consultancy, support and advice to senior leaders, line managers and employees on a wide range of human resource management matters
  • Travel once per quarter for 2-3 days
  • Understand business unit strategic imperatives and build a plan to deliver on those
  • Provide advice on ER and IR matters
  • Support performance and behavioural issues, workplace investigations, disciplinary management, involvement in complex compensation cases, Speak Up Line matters
  • Coach front-line leaders and building capability around people processes
  • Be involved in the coordination and delivery of key projects and operational PCC matters

Skills & Experience

This is a busy, hands on but highly rewarding role that will challenge you to learn and adapt quickly. Ideally you can demonstrate:

  • Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast paced, complex business
  • Demonstrated IR/ER case management experience, including experience working with EBA’s and unions
  • Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach
  • The ability to build authentic relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, becoming a trusted expert within the business
  • Tertiary qualifications
