Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Senior People Solutions Case Manager to join our dynamic People and Culture team on a 12 month contract.
Reporting to the People Solutions Lead, Case Management, you will be responsible for managing complex employee matters from start to finish. You will provide expert guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Your role will require strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to build effective work relationships and maintain resilience in challenging situations.
Day to day you will:
Take ownership of assigned cases, directly liaising with employees, leaders, and Business Partners across Nine to implement appropriate investigative/ resolution methods
Investigate complex employee matters and determine optimal solutions that are fit for purpose, mitigate IR liability and that align with business unit risk profiles
Provide guidance to People Leaders on areas such as performance coaching, counselling, career development, grievances, workplace investigations and disciplinary actions
Work directly with individual business units to support specific change management or performance improvement programs from time to time
Work closely with Business Partners to provide additional support to the business as necessary in regards to broader People & Culture initiatives
Maintain high service level for the business through regular communication and timely support
Qualifications
Essential qualifications, experience and skills:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
Extensive experience managing mid-to-high complexity IR/ER cases from start to finish
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to build rapport and foster collaborative work relationships
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a pragmatic approach
Proficiency in analysing complex problems to meet business needs
Effective stakeholder management with a proactive approach to issue reporting
Resilience, tenacity, and ability to navigate and overcome challenges
Comprehensive understanding of Employee Relations best practices and broad HR expertise
Desirable qualifications, experience & skills:
Previous experience as a HR Business Partner or in a Generalist HR role.
