We are seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to assist with the rapid growth in performance & volume testing (PVT) demands of a product, which is undergoing a transition from a legacy .Net-based system to microservice-based deployment on AWS using Kubernetes.
Reporting into a very supportive and experienced manager, this role is crucial in ensuring the product continues to meet performance, scalability and reliability goals while operating under a hybrid legacy + microservices model in this transition period.

To be considered, you must demonstrate the following:
- Extensive enterprise experience in a performance test engineering role which includes working with microservices and cloud-based technology.
- Mastery of Performance Test Tools: Knowledge of scripting languages and the ability to write code for test automation.
- Microservices: K6, JMeter, Gatling, etc.
- Database languages: MS SQL, Postgres
- On-Prem: Microsoft performance monitoring.
- Cloud: Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
-On-Premise: Windows Server, SQL Server (2012+), .Net
-Cloud-based:
- AWS Web Services, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and other relevant services, and how to optimize applications for AWS infrastructure.
- Microservices: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, principles, and best practices.
- Kubernetes: Container orchestration and management, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate Performance Testing into the CI/CD process. Experience in this area highly regarded.
