About the role As our next Diesel Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. The Lake Vermont Coal Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland. Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System. Be highly motivated and committed to deliver quality results. Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance of the fleet in the workshop and in the field. Maintain fleets of Cat D10T/D10T2/D11T/D11 Dozers, Cat 18/24M/24 Graders, Cat 992K Loaders, Cat 789C/789D/793F, Komatsu 930E-5 and Liebherr T282C Dump Trucks. Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard. Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained ensuring a safe work environment. Have a good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement, be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team. Commitment to Risk Management and Safe Work. Our requirements To be successful in this role you are required to have: Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment Demonstrated experience Cat, Komatsu and/or Liebherr HME Why work for Thiess Lake Vermont?
