What you'll be doing
To provide expertise and support for the provision of specialist Renal Services at Westmead Hospital. This includes the provision of high quality frontline clinical support; optimise, monitor, promote and maintain systems that support the quality and cost-effective use of renal drugs; ensuring access to highly specialised and non-registered renal medicines through the Special Access Scheme (SAS); data management and analysis, participation in the development and delivery of multidisciplinary training, and providing local and state-wide leadership for renal transplantation services.

Essential Criteria
Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 3 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.
Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria * Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice particularly in renal medicine.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change
  • Demonstrated skills in information technology: using computer applications including dispensing, database management, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
