The Company
A major digital learning provider that has seen exponential growth since their inception in early 2000's. They are looking to expand their development team and re factor their current software as they prepare to transition to the cloud. They have recognised the importance of their digital platform to the future of their business and are investing heavily in this space!
The Role
We are seeking a senior level PHP Developer who has extensive experience using the Laravel framework. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will play a key role in an established development team who are about to embark on a major transformation journey to modernise their technology stack, which includes re factoring a legacy code base and starting a transition to the cloud.
The business provides flexible working arrangements and a 9 day fortnight, with the plan to move to a hybrid working arrangement in the future.
Our client is also open to a potential VISA sponsorship for the right candidate!

About You
Strong PHP development skill set using the Laravel framework
Minimum four years experience in commercial PHP development
Extensive experience with Github (Continuous integration & Continuous Deployment)
Full working knowledge of Docker (experience migrating legacy applications into docker containers)
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture (desirable)
Prior Experience Re factoring Large Legacy Codebases (desirable)
Experience with React is advantageous
Passionate and driven towards business success
