You'll be joining a team of technology enthusiasts who prioritize doing the right thing over taking the easy route. Like any IT team, we work with a mix of legacy and cutting-edge technologies. Our current initiatives involve migrating our software systems to a new architecture, introducing SaaS applications, and establishing a robust integration foundation. We serve as one of the driving forces behind the organization, enabling its growth and operations. Our focus includes expanding locally and internationally, enhancing automation for processes such as importing, warehousing, fulfillment, and retail. We have a strong commitment to talent growth, with plans to educate, train, and support the professional development of our Developers, Testers, and DevOps team members.
The role:
- This position is an onsite role based at our Sydney Olympic Park offices.
- Onsite parking is provided.
- Base salary: $140,000 - $150,000 depending on skills and experience.

Having witnessed the consequences of poor planning and flawed implementations, you strive for excellence rather than perfection. Your expertise lies in PHP, JavaScript, Symfony (or Laravel), and React. You have previous experience with PHP, Symfony, Node.js, and Python, as well as a solid understanding of AWS. Your coding standards are exceptionally high, and you have successfully worked on complex software systems. You thrive on working with cutting-edge technologies and integration frameworks, and you possess the ability to analyze, explore, and refactor legacy applications using emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or preferably Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
● 5+ years of experience in Agile Software Development
● 5+ years of experience in software development and systems engineering industries
Preference:
● Experience with Magento 1 and 2
● Experience with Retail/Warehouse Management
● Experience with Integration as a Service platform like Fivetran and Workato
● Knowledge of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence tools such as BigQuery, DataStudio, Salesforce, or other BI platforms
