About the role and where you will be working:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to work across Margaret Hubery House (65 beds) and Joseph Cook House (57 beds), which are closely located in Rossmoyne and Shelley.

As a Southern Cross Care physio, you will have a passion for working in partnership with older people and for developing and delivering person centred evidence-based physiotherapy. You will maintain an active case load and engage with our care teams supporting our residents to achieve their physical and activity goals.

This is a permanent full time position. You will be supported by an experienced allied health manager and professionals across the organisation.

We’ll also be asking you to:

  • Deliver of high quality physiotherapy services to our residents
  • Maintain an effective falls prevention/management program within the home
  • Communicate effectively with the care team to enhance the wellbeing of residents
  • Contribute to quality improvements in allied health and the residential service
  • Comply with Allied Health, clinical and Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and safe work practices

About you:

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with at least 5 years relevant experience. You will also need a strong commitment to person centred care and able to work both independently and within a team. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in our residents' lives.
