We are looking for a highly qualified and diligent Senior Pipette Calibration Specialist to join our dedicated calibration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibration and equipment maintenance to ensure customers instrument are at peak performance. The candidate is required to perform duties as a second in charge (2IC) to the team leader, including daily laboratory operations and compliances.
The ideal candidate is highly expert in technical support, with proficient knowledge in quality compliances ISO/IEC 17025 - testing and calibration laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out calibration, maintenance and repair of pipettes and bottle-top dispensers.
Ensure service orders are processed efficiently and in timely manner, managing customer expectations with efficient response time.
Follow up with customers on the work progress of instrument maintenance and calibration.
Handle service process from allocation to completion, including the management of spare part, service report and billing summary via service booking software to enable accurate invoicing.
Develop strong customer relationship within key accounts and work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve service revenue plan.
Lead and perform pipette service at customer's site, includes initial coordination with customer, provide quotation, set up work equipment, consumables and spare parts.
Train and assist new employee in adapting the operation procedures, enabling new employee to perform daily tasks and comply to accreditation.
Responsible in issuing NATA calibration certificate, as duties of CT level 2. Undertake trainings to develop as a technical controller (CT level 3).
Perform work in accordance to all relevant certification procedures and regulatory requirements such as NATA, ISO and OH&S.
Proactively seek new opportunities and continuous improvement in optimizing customer experience.
Key To Success:
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in Pipette Calibration and repair
Demonstrated ability in leadership
Technical support experience is essential !
Experienced working in accredited laboratory environment (ISO/IEC 17025 - testing and calibration laboratories)
Skills & Attributes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
High level of digital literacy and experience in using Microsoft office and calibration software.
Strong communication, in written and verbally with customers and co-workers.
Strong interpersonal and time management skill.
Strong problem solving and analytical skill. Proven record to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Good manual dexterity and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
An initiative taker who can work autonomously, with a can-do and positive and professional demeanor.
