Senior Piping Designer

We are looking for experienced a Senior Piping Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Principal Piping Designer, you will be required to work across a continuous succession of projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, delivery and close out. 

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following: 

• 6+ years’ experience in mining, mineral processing plant design. 
• Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting in a relevant CAD package. Autodesk preferred although not essential.  
• Proficiency in the layout of process plant equipment.
• Competency in design checking will be highly regarded. 
• Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. 
• Solid understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.
• Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment. 
• Proven ability to work autonomously or as a part of team. 
• Strong problem-solving and planning skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
• Site experience during construction and commissioning desirable although not essential.
