Senior Piping Designer

rhi is recruiting for an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our client's dynamic team in Perth, WA. As a Senior Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results in the Offshore LNG and Oil & Gas sectors within the context of EPCM engineering and maintenance projects. This is a contract position for 12 months with a potential to go permanent, should this be your goal.

• Demonstrated capability of performing the full range of discipline design and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills
• Technical associate's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience
• Demonstrated ability to check piping deliverables
• Self-starter with the ability to guide / train junior level designers.

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering / Drafting

About you:

• Minimum of 10 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry
• Competency in PDMS and E3D CAD systems.
• Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
• Ability to problem solve effectively
• Attention to detail
