Domestic Relocation Support Provided
The Senior Plant Inspector will play a critical role in our operations by overseeing the inspection and integrity management activities of our oil and gas facilities. This position requires a thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize asset performance.
The Senior Plant Inspector will lead a team of inspectors, coordinate inspection schedules, and collaborate with various departments to implement effective inspection strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and executing in-service inspection and NDT activities across the facilities.
Liaising with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering personnel, as needed, to coordinate, offer technical support, and conduct inspection activities on the offshore facilities.
Contributing to shutdown inspection activities, assisting in the overall execution of inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of inspection services to meet shutdown schedules.
Providing input for the development of optimized inspection philosophies, strategies, and plans aimed at reducing the impact of inspections on plant availability, all while ensuring integrity is upheld.
Contributing to the creation of streamlined inspection philosophies, strategies, and plans aimed at minimizing the effect of inspections on plant availability, all while ensuring integrity is maintained.
Supervising and mentor team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
Certification in pressure equipment inspection (such as Senior AICIP or equivalent) and NDT (for instance, AINDT or equivalent) is required.
A diploma or higher education in materials or mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
Knowledge of relevant International, Australian and industry inspection standards and regulations relating to pressure systems highly desirable.
Have suitable transportation to and from the Ichthys LNG Onshore Processing Facility located at Bladin Point.
Current Australian driver's license
Strong interpersonal skills in fostering teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.
Highly accomplished communication and presentation skills.
